Backup Engineer

Requirements/Responsibilities:

• 6+ years as a Lead Backup Administrator or Consultant.
• Strong knowledge & hands on experience on NetBackup.
• Strong knowledge & hands-on experience on Cohesity.
• Strong knowledge & hands on experience on EMC Data Domain.
• Strong knowledge & hands on experience on ECS Administration.
• Install, configure, and maintain Cohesity and NetBackup systems to meet business requirements.
• Design and implement backup and recovery strategies to safeguard data across multiple platforms and environments.
• Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively addressing any issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Develop and maintain documentation related to backup policies, procedures, and configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement data protection best practices and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to backup and recovery operations, escalating as necessary to vendor support
