Job Description:

As a Baseline Mechanic at Swansboro Auto and Mechanic, you will be an integral part of our team, responsible for performing a wide range of automotive maintenance and repair tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience and proficiency in brakes, shocks, tire pressure maintenance, and welding and possess strong diagnostic skills. You will work in a dynamic environment where attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to excellence are highly valued.
 

Key Responsibilities:

   Perform routine maintenance tasks, including brake inspections, shock absorber replacements, and tire pressure checks.

   Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues and determine appropriate repair solutions.

   Execute repairs efficiently and effectively, ensuring the highest quality and safety standards.

   Utilize welding equipment to perform fabrication and repair tasks as needed.

   Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.

   Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding repair recommendations and timelines.

   Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

   Proven experience as an automotive mechanic, with a focus on brakes, shocks, tire pressure maintenance, welding, and diagnostics.

   Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment.

   Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

   Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

   Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

   Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

   Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
