Description

This role involves supporting the testing and validation of new cybersecurity solutions on our MLAN (segregated network dedicated to our manufacturing systems). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, network security, and experience with industrial control systems.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•             Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough testing and validation of new cybersecurity solutions to ensure they meet security standards and requirements.

•             Network Segregation: Work with segregated networks to isolate and protect manufacturing systems from potential cyber threats.

•             Vulnerability Assessment: Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on manufacturing systems and networks.

•             Incident Response: Assist in the development and implementation of incident response plans specific to manufacturing environments.

•             Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of testing procedures, results, and recommendations for improvements.

•             Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, manufacturing, and cybersecurity, to ensure seamless integration of security solutions.

•             Compliance: Ensure all cybersecurity solutions comply with industry standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing systems.

•             Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to continuously improve testing methodologies and security measures.

 

Qualifications:

•             Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.

•             Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on network security and industrial control systems.

•             Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GICSP are preferred.

•             Technical Skills: Proficiency in network security tools, vulnerability assessment tools, and penetration testing methodologies.

•             Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial control systems, SCADA, and manufacturing processes.

•             Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

•             Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively document and present findings.

•             Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
