BI Admin Support SME

Job Description:

The BI Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and administration of the Business Intelligence reporting tools used to query and analyze data systems.

• Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain BI tools.

• Troubleshoot & Resolve Job Failures related to the platform.

• Troubleshoot priority incidents and root cause analysis.

• Standardize and automate reporting processes and mechanisms using scripts, command-line utilities, or maps.

• Coordinate with Vendor support for issue resolution, patches, and bug fixes.

• Work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment. This includes throughput analysis, capacity planning, ongoing optimization, and tuning of BI tools and environment.

• Setting up LDAP and Users/ Groups Creation, Access Management (Privileges and Permissions)

• Support disaster recovery testing and implement disaster recovery functions.

• Coordinate with development and infrastructure groups to prepare and implement planned maintenance outages.

• Design and implement monitoring and alerting strategies to enforce application SLAs.

• Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases.

• Experience in the following BI Tools: Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica, Reinsurance Master, Alteryx, Informatica Intelligence Cloud Service, Oracle Business Intelligence

• Location Requirement - Los Angeles (3 days/week onsite)
