BI Architect

Position Overview: The BI Architect will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions using a variety of BI tools. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data warehousing, ETL processes, proficiency in multiple BI platforms, and a good understanding of the manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust BI architecture to support business analytics and reporting needs across various platforms and within the manufacturing domain.
• Lead the development and maintenance of data warehousing solutions tailored to manufacturing data.
• Create and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain BI tools and dashboards (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker, QlikView) with a focus on manufacturing KPIs and metrics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, particularly in the manufacturing sector, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and security across all BI solutions.
• Optimize and tune BI systems for performance and scalability.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to BI developers and analysts.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in BI, data analytics, and manufacturing processes.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a BI Architect or in a similar role, with a significant focus on the manufacturing domain.
• Strong expertise in data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Proficiency with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, SSIS).
• Extensive experience with multiple BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, QlikView.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database management systems like SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL.
• Good understanding of manufacturing processes, metrics, and data.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with cloud-based BI solutions like AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery is a plus
