Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled BI/Data Test Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality andperformance of our Business Intelligence (BI) solutions and data pipelines. You will work closelywith data analysts, developers, and business stakeholders to validate data integrity and ensurethat our BI tools meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

● Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for BI applications and data
processes.
● Validate data accuracy and consistency across various data sources and BI tools.
● Collaborate with data engineers and developers to identify and resolve data quality issues.
● Perform regression testing for BI reports and dashboards after changes or enhancements.
● Monitor and analyze test results, generating detailed reports on findings.
● Participate in requirement gathering sessions to ensure testability and coverage.
● Provide recommendations for improving data quality and testing processes.
● Stay updated on BI tools and technologies, contributing to continuous improvement
initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
● 4-5 years of experience in data testing, BI testing, or a related role.
● Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems (e.g., Oracle,
SQL Server, MySQL).
● Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, QlikView) and ETL processes.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
● Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
● Experience with automated testing tools is a plus

Preferred Qualifications:

● Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
● Experience with programming languages such as Python or R.
● Certification in relevant BI or data testing tools
