Power BI Developer

Atlanta, GA (Remote within EST hours)

8+ months Contract

 

Required Skills: Looking for a strong Power BI Developer who either was a lead or has leadership quailities. Will be responsible for 2 people. Need to be very strong in data modeling and creating data sets. Need someone who can help drive forward the project. 10/10 communication skills needed

 

Candidate will work with cross-functional teams, to gather, document, and approve business requirements for reporting projects, as well as use BI and database tools to develop reporting solutions to meet business needs.

  • 7+ years in an analytical position and in PowerBI
  • 1-2 years of leadership skills
  • The ability to collected and organize data in a structured manner
  • Involves identifying the relevant data, cleaning and preprocessing it to ensure its quality, and organizing it in a way that makes it easy to work with.
  • Proficient in Tableau, Looker, PowerBI or any other modern dashboarding tool
  • A desire to proactively help departments think scientifically and act based upon sound data
  • Familiarity with data collection software and protocol
  • Experience integrating new software and programs
  • Capable of prioritizing multiple projects while still achieving deadlines
  • Excellent analytical ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills is a must
