BI Developer

100% Remote (EST Hours)

4+ months Contract

The BI Developer will be responsible for creating reports, data extracts, visual dashboards and complex scorecards based on detailed customer specifications.  They work closely with end users to gather functional requirements, design detailed technical requirements and ensure proper testing / validation of data.  BI developer will be a senior member of the team, lead development projects with junior staff and is responsible for the creation, documentation and support of BI solutions from Epic databases and other data stores.  Attention to detail and data analysis experience are critical to be successful.

Required Skills:

What are the must have’s: Client is a MS SQL Server shop

– T-SQL preferred, but SQL itself is fine as long as they know it well.

Familiarity and ability to build database (what users would wat from a BI and analytics perspective).

Epic MUST HAVE – their proprietary Clarity Database Not necessarily the front end, but the back end database work. Ability to navigate it (there are intricacies that aren’t seen in any of the other DBs and you won’t be able to be trained up/navigate if you don’t already know it. Tableau OR PowerBI (either or). MUST have Flu Shot (and Covid vaccine). Is industry experience required?: Yes, need EPIC (Healthcare DB) experience

What are the nice to have’s: SSIS – build ETL pipelines, big plus but not sure how much they will be doing here.
