BI (EPIC CLARITY)

Epic Clarity/Caboodle Developer 

Requirements:
BI Developer with 5+ years of experience
Healthcare data experience preferably EPIC EMR data is a must
Looking for someone with strengths in Epic Clarity and Caboodle data warehouse
Extensive experience in ETL development and methodologies using SSIS
Prior experience in reporting tools such as SSRS, Tableau, MSBI
Needs to have worked with healthcare data in the past
Extensive experience querying and optimizing large datasets
Expert in MS SQL
Great communication skills and attention to detail

Daily activities and responsibilities:
In this position, you will collaborate with other internal teams to develop ETL jobs and curated data tables that help drive reports, dashboards, and a self-service data pipeline
Design, build, maintain, and iterate on all parts of the data pipeline
Build a deep understanding of our data models and become the de-facto expert on what analytics data is collected, how it is stored and queried
Guide team members in effectively querying and interpreting stored data
Work on data quality issues, identify their root causes, implement fixes and design data audits to prevent the issues before they occur
Provides production support for business intelligence solutions
Activities include problem analysis, break/fix, design/modeling, implementation/coding, and testing
Maintains and set up of sftp jobs

Important Skills

Technical – 5+ years of experience as a BI developer, experience with Epic Clarity and Caboodle data warehouse, experience in ETL Dev using SSIS, experience with reporting tools (SSRS, Tableau, or MSBI), and has worked with healthcare data

Soft –   Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, great attention to detail


Interview Process: Video interview with Frank and 1-2 members of his team

Background Check + Drug Test (if applicable): 7 year criminal (federal, county, state), Employment Verification (7 years), Education Verification, Drug test- 10 panel 

Hours / Shift (if applicable): Candidate must be available during EST business hours and should respond to IM’s promptly. This position will also include a rotating on-call weekend schedule due to the support nature of the work

What's the environment/sell: This is on the Epic reporting and analytics team that supports multiple business units within CVS. This position will give them the opportunity to gain exposure to multiple business units within the company. This is a long-term position with no limit on contract tenure, and the chance of converting to a permanent role with CVS if the candidate is interested and has proven performance.
