BCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Big Data Developer for an opportunity in Charlotte, NC!


 

 


 

Position Title: Big Data Developer


 

Location: Charlotte, NC


 

Anticipated Start Date: ASAP

Expected Duration: 12 months with potential to long term


 

Job Type: [Contract >=40 HRS WEEKLY], [ON-SITE]


 

Pay Range: [$60/hr] - [$65/hr]


 

Please note that actual compensation may vary within this range due to factors such as location, experience, and job responsibilities, and does not encompass additional non-standard compensation (e.g., benefits, paid time off, per diem, etc.).


 

 


 

Requirements:


 

  • The role encompasses the full development lifecycle: requirements, design, develop, documention, test and deployment.
  • The subject area is data management: delivering solutions to restructure, simplify and maintain data management, data processing and reporting processes as well as meticulous capture and documentation of technical metadata
  • Excellent data and technical analysis
  • Solid Experience of BigData development (Hive, Impala or Spark)
  • Proficient in hands-on relational database/SQL development
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible
  • Experience working in an agile development environment
