BIM Modeler

Job Requirements:

• Associate's degree in Computerized Drafting field (preferred)
• 2 years of experience with electrical symbols and drafting conventions
• Proficiency in Revit, Autodesk Navisworks, and Autodesk Design Review
• Strong BIM experience
• Ability to create and manage Revit work sets and work sharing processes
• Understanding of 3D coordination with other trades
• Fluency in importing documents, reading 2D plans, and working in 2D and 3D space
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); Oracle preferred

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop Revit Families for project and standard needs
• Efficiently model and document projects
• Input marked-up drawings into Revit according to standards
• Lead modeling efforts on projects with support modelers
• Set up Revit views for project teams and manage electronic documents
• Document and archive work according to the REI Standard
• Protect company intellectual property and adhere to confidentiality requirements
• Download drawings and information from web-based sources (FTP, SharePoint, etc.)
