Responsibilities:
• At least 5-8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the
application/infrastructure technologies.
• Experience working with Product, Architecture, Design, Engineering teams in an
agile environment
• Acquire knowledge of the products, enhancements, and their functioning by
interviewing team members to develop product/support documentation
• Develop various types of public-facing documentation for web interfaces,
command-line tools and APIs including how-to manuals, troubleshooting
guidance, tutorials, demo pages, user guides, and quick-start guides
• Conduct interviews with subject matter experts, developers, and other technical
staff to collect information, prepare documentation and coordinate layout and
material organization
• Translate technical or complicated information into clear, direct, and concise
documents appropriate for audiences with varying technical expertise
• Submit drafts for technical review and edit to accommodate requested changes to
ensure the clarity, completeness, accuracy, and quality of documents created
• Internalize feedback provided to incorporate into future documents to minimize
reviews
• Understanding of IT concepts such as networks, infrastructure, big data, and cloud
computing
• Demonstrated experience in communicating with developers and SMEs and
coordinating work across multiple teams and departments
• Expertise with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including advanced formatting
features
• A strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn quickly
• Effective verbal and written communication
Desired Skills:
• Project management
• Knowledge of the Agile software development process and the software
development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Experience with structured documents and knowledge of XML/HTML,
Markdown, or DocBook a plus
Bachelor’s Degree
