Description


Must have skills:
- experience with SOA & REST based “micro” & “macro” services and understanding of XML/JSON, 
- understanding of databases and how to write and execute basic SQL, 
- experience with Systems Research & Analysis, writing Functional Requirements/Design Documentation (FRDs, SDDs), ICOMS/CSG ACP 
Nice to Haves:
- billing system experience is very helpful (Icoms, etc)
- Experience in telecommunications or cable (DirectTV, Verizon, AT&T, etc)
-prior coding experience or familiarity with reading code is a plus, especially Java, but not required. 
Soft Skills:
Need to have good analytical thinking, communication & writing (grammar, spelling) skills. They will be interacting on a daily basis with developers, QA & architects so technical aptitude is important. 
Job Description
Technical Analyst
The Business Analyst serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization and/or vendors in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs. Possesses expertise in the business unit(s) supported as well as an understanding of the IT organization’s systems and capabilities. Provides complex analysis services, translating user needs into detailed specifications to allow Information Technology Department to deliver an appropriate solution. Works independently with minimal supervision.
