Business Analyst

Position Description

Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and/or to improve existing computer system, writes detailed descriptions of user needs/requirements; studies existing information processing systems to evaluate effectiveness and develops new systems to improve production/workflow; and plans and prepares technical reports, memoranda and instruction manuals related to financial markets, including international and domestic trading; Develop, test and deliver basic ad hoc report requests; Develop basic key performance metrics reports and analysis for our customers;  Analyze basic expense analysis activities related to the cost to serve model and/or ad hoc expense analysis; Develop or review predictive modeling activities; application count projection models, staffing models, etc.; maintain, develop and foster effective, long standing relationships with peers and all customers; Provide support to field, internal customers and external customers by relaying/obtaining needed information. Relocation/ telecommuting may be required plus travel to various unanticipated client locations within the United States for short and long term assignments.

Education

Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Engineering (Electronics/Mech./Civil).   Will accept Bachelors in Computer Science/Computer Applications/Engineering (Electronics/Mech./Civil) plus five (5) years of progressive experience in related fields in lieu of Masters Degree.Will accept foreign education equivalent.
