Description

Responsibilities:
This position will support the functionality within PACSS (Palmetto Automated Child Support system) and the SDU (State Disbursement Unit) on the CFS Project. This position will be involved in and responsible for various areas and phases of all three systems.
• Lead efforts to design, test and validate system interfaces
• Report to the project’s functional lead and provide periodic as-needed written and verbal updates in the SME’s responsibility functional area.
• Assist with Help Desk operations for PACSS
• Work with state (agency IT staff) and federal partners to design, test and implement interface files and procedures for data exchange
• Inspect and correct, as necessary, federal interface files from FCR, IRS and CSENet in production
• Inspect and correct, as necessary, state interface files from various agencies such as DMV, DOR etc. in production
• Serve as primary contact for any interface production file issues during nightly batch process, monitors batch process for errors
• Send daily production reports related to print count, and specific interface data to project team and CSSD program leads as required
• Review design documents for any interface related bugs or enhancements and provide recommendation on design
• Act as liaison between PACSS state team and interface partners.

REQUIRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• 10+ years of experience working on child support related software project(s)
• Technical skills required to analyze, edit and manage interface files
• Analyze and validate system requirements and functionality
• Experience with requirements management, constructing data flow diagrams, creating test scenarios and testing
• Ability to identify, interpret and translate business process training for appropriate audiences
• Extensive experience with Team Foundation Server (TFS), MS Office, Visio and SharePoint
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong ability to communicate (orally and written) with project staff, stakeholders, and executives
• Must be able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

PREFERRED SKILLS (RANK IN ORDER OF IMPORTANCE):
• Experience working with AGILE software methodology
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrate strong ability to take initiative and ability to work with minimal to no guidance

A bachelor's degree or 10 years child support experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree
