Job Summary:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and solutions by analyzing, documenting, and validating business processes, requirements, and systems. Your primary focus will be on understanding business objectives, eliciting and documenting requirements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver effective and efficient solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Requirement Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements.
Elicit and document clear, concise, and comprehensive business requirements.
Analysis and Documentation:
Analyze and document current state and future state business processes.
Create process flow diagrams, data models, and other relevant documentation.
Perform impact analysis to assess the effects of proposed changes.
Solution Design:
Work closely with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Contribute to the design of effective and efficient solutions that meet business needs.
Data Analysis:
Analyze and interpret data to provide insights into business performance.
Assist in data validation, data cleansing, and data migration activities.
Testing and Validation:
Develop and execute test plans to ensure solutions meet specified requirements.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to validate system functionality.
Communication and Collaboration:
Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and development teams.
Participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between business and technology.
Continuous Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in business analysis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with business analysis tools and methodologies.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of Agile or Scrum methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) is a plus.
