Business Analyst

Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and driven Business Analyst to join our team in Mumbai. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping our organization make data-driven decisions and drive operational improvements. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into actionable insights and solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders from various departments to understand their business needs, objectives, and challenges.
2. Data Analysis: Collect and analyze data from internal and external sources to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement.
3. Documentation: Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional requirement documents (FRDs), and use cases to communicate requirements effectively to the development team.
4. Data Modeling: Develop data models, process flows, and data dictionaries to enhance understanding and alignment of project requirements.
5. Solution Design: Work with the technical team to design and validate solutions that address business needs, ensuring they are cost-effective and feasible.
6. Testing and Validation: Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and ensure that the delivered solutions meet the defined business requirements.
7. Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the development team, ensuring clear and effective communication.
8. Reporting and Dashboards: Create and maintain reports and dashboards to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to support decision-making.
9. Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations for enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
10. Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc analysis as requested by management to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a related role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL).
• Knowledge of business process modeling and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus
