Business Analyst

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
5 years of experience with logical data modeling / database design for MS SQL Server applications.
5 years of experience with the design of web-based or client-server applications.
5 years of experience with requirement elicitation techniques to gather requirements from stakeholders.
5 years of experience with group facilitation and Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions for business and systems analysis.
5 years of experience with analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and design software solutions.
5 years of experience with object-oriented analysis and design including proficiency in the Unified Modeling Language (UML).
5 years of experience with the development of System Use Cases and technical specifications.
2 years of experience using XML in data collection based on HL7 standard.
2 years of experience with web service architecture.
2 years of experience with design and implementation of data dictionaries.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conduct meeting sessions to gather requirements as directed by the Department.
Document and submit business and technical requirements using approved Department tools, MS Word, Visio, Excel, or other software as directed by the Department.
Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) following Department application testing standards on EMSTARS EMS Data Warehouse system and technical issues as directed by the Department.
Create and submit visual models using the UML as directed by the Department.
Create and submit logical database models in documenting the model according to Department standards.
Develop and submit Business Process Models to visually represent BEMO processes as directed by the Department.
Perform technical and procedural support for end users as directed by the Department.
Attend status meetings and JAD sessions as directed by the Department.
Communicate in written format with project teams and internal stakeholders regarding project activities, deliverables, and status as directed by the Department
