Job Description of Entitlements/ Licensing Business Analyst (3 numbers)

Experience of understanding and analyzing business requirements for Entitlements / Licensing / Analytics for a software company

Prepares detailed system requirements, understanding of end to end to business process from BOM /CPQ/Quotation/Contracts/Deployment/usage tracking

Experience and understanding of process of software licensing deployments as per contracts, entitlement management/utilization, associated purchases, and compliance reporting.

Potentially manage any software licensing portal for user assignments.

Experience and understanding of routinely tracking client license entitlements and monitor compliance using data from various IT Asset Management tools

Experience in manage and tracking contract anniversaries and renewal deadlines, create Effective License Positions (“ELPs”) for anniversaries as needed

Have the experience to provide clients with recommendations and supporting data related to IT Asset Management, software renewals, including appropriate quantities, license assignments, and right-sizing opportunities

Facilitated and/or partners with other customers to facilitate a systematic process for capturing requirements. Capture requirements in a standard format that can serve as the foundation for developing technical documentation.

May determine the best-suited technology to meet the business requirements.

Researches and involves appropriate parties to resolve more complex business and technical issues.

Provide consultative support for the systems within their product family

Partner with BSA to ensure the design fulfills business and technical requirements

Prepare documentation and deliverables including flow charts, models, and procedures, user guides, scorecards and reporting.

Ensures adherence to practices, standards, policies and procedures.

Experience in Gap analysis, Solution Design, implementation, testing and user training in Oracle Modules

Good articulation & presentation skills to a diverse audience
