Business Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with business users to elicit comprehensive requirements for dashboard features, aesthetics, and data representation.
• Accurately document business needs, detailing data sources, key metrics, and any bespoke features to be transferred or optimized within Google Looker.
• Collaborate with data engineers and visualization specialists to convert business needs into precise technical specifications.Develop product wireframes.
• Facilitate meetings with business stakeholders related to validation and sign-off.Confirm the fidelity of migrated dashboards to business requirements through thorough testing and user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination.
• Educate and assist business users in adopting the new Google Looker dashboards, facilitating a smooth transition and integration.
• Act as an intermediary between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure transparent communication and a mutual understanding of the migration efforts.
• Keep diligent records of user input and revisions of the dashboards to foster ongoing enhancement.
• Oversee the dashboard migration project from start to finish, ensuring adherence to schedules and quality benchmarks.

Qualifications

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong portfolio in dashboard development and data visualization projects.
• Prior experience with advanced visualization tools (OBIEE, Google Looker, Tableau, PowerBi, or similar BI tools).
• Experience in the healthcare sector and knowledge of relevant data compliance regulations.
• Exceptional ability to document complex business requirements with clarity and precision.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work with large data sets.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on stakeholder management.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Intermediate to advanced skills in SQL and understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Epic Reporting Workbench or Epic Clarity Revenue Data Model certification highly preferred.
• Prior experience with OBIEE and familiarity with Google Looker or similar BI tools.
• Experience working with Google Looker.
