Gathering and understanding user requirements, understand investment data, creating detailed specifications to capture business/data logic, test and validate effectiveness of implemented solutions, and effective bridging between users and developers.
Perform data analysis to validate and refine business requirements, and capture business logic in detailed specifications for developers to implement.
Validate proposed IT solutions with developers, senior business analysts, and users. Propose alternative solutions due to design or implementation considerations when necessary.
Create/update functional and technical specification document to capture system design, business logic, and business rationale.
Create feature files for automated verification and regression testing.
Perform integration and functional acceptance testing. Provide support to user acceptance testing. Document test results.
Skillset Requirements:
Only candidates with proven data analysis skills, with strong interest in data analysis job function will be considered.
Bachelor Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of relevant experience in technology business analysis or data analysis, familiar with business applications in investment/banking industries, preferably with Credit Risk or Market Risk domain knowledge.
Experience in data analysis (e.g. understanding of data representation in systems, design data transformation logic, investigate data issues) through direct query of databases.
Must have strong working knowledge of SQL, including SQL analytic functions.
Possess strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
A team player who has growth mindset and confident to work independently. Capable of finding simple solutions to problems.
Experience in the documentation of BRD, FSD, use cases, and business processes.
Excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
