ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Design, develop, and maintain BI reporting solutions.
  • Define, implement, and standardize metrics, reports, and dashboards
  • Work closely with Director FP&A to identify and prioritize new reporting requirements, evaluate the effectiveness and capability of new data sources, and identify the best ways to present data to the target audience.
  • Create insightful visualization dashboards and reports to monitor and highlight contributing factors to financial and operational results and variances.
  • Work closely with IT to implement new data gathering techniques, transform data into appropriate formats for analysis in Power BI and develop additional relational data models.
  • Prepare and analyze reports for use by key business stakeholders
  • Support of the Month End financial reporting package
  • Identify opportunities and influence partners to act: Provide insights to the leadership team on the impact of strategic initiatives on the key metrics
  • Drive self-serve and data literacy: democratize data by building and socializing decision tools (dashboards, reports); build key data sets/pipelines to empower operational and exploratory analysis

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • This is an individual contributor role with the ability to lead indirectly across the business.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of working experience in data, analytics, or other relevant roles
  • Experience with reporting and dashboard tools, such as Power Bi, Tableau, etc.
  • Experience with SQL and working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
  • Ability to think analytically and solve moderately complex problems
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced & rapidly changing environment working independently and engaging with internal customers to scope and support project requirements at the leadership level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill
  • Ability to tell stories with data, educate effectively, and instill confidence, motivating stakeholders to act on recommendations
