Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in testing and CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) functional understanding. As a Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring successful delivery of projects related to CPQ implementation and testing.
Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document their requirements related to CPQ processes, functionalities, and workflows.
2. Analyze, validate, and translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
3. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of CPQ projects.
4. Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities, including functional, integration, and regression testing, to ensure the CPQ solution meets business requirements and quality standards.
5. Identify and document any issues, defects, or gaps in the CPQ solution, and work with the development team to resolve them in a timely manner.
6. Collaborate with stakeholders to define and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) plans, ensuring end-to-end testing of CPQ processes.
7. Assist in the development and maintenance of test scripts, test cases, and test data for various CPQ scenarios.
8. Provide guidance and support to business users during UAT, addressing their questions, issues, and concerns.
9. Conduct training sessions and create user documentation to facilitate smooth adoption of the CPQ solution.
10. Stay updated on industry best practices and trends related to CPQ and testing methodologies, and proactively share knowledge with the team.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field. 2. Proven experience as a Business Analyst, specifically working on CPQ projects and possessing a solid understanding of CPQ functionalities.
3. Strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with experience in functional, integration, and regression testing.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into functional specifications.
5. Familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to work in an agile environment.
6. Proficient in using CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ) and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM).
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels.
8. Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions that meet business objectives.
9. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
10. Knowledge of CRM systems and experience integrating CPQ solutions with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus.
11. Relevant certifications such as CPQ Specialist or ISTQB certification in software testing are desirable.
