Elicit and understand the business challenges, what they want to prioritize on the roadmap and organizing the design, architecture, and then requirements/backlog from there.

Job Description:


Leveraging Pegasystems as core cloud platform, Customer Decision Hub to drive their consumer-oriented experience and drive more next best action decisioning and interaction. Investing in core Pega platform for Customer Service and business process automation.
CDH has been implemented, Customer Service has not (driving need for more Customer Service oriented Architects)
Were trying to take an iterative approach, but certain iterations taking longer than expected so shifted toward taking parallel streams simultaneously in certain areas. i.e. implementation of Customer Service with CDH
Working in Scrum 'fusion' teams--blend of technology, business technologist resources, other SMEs, testers.
Were using Pega Professional Services for core Pega roles entirely, but have been shifting toward sourcing Pega certified roles from various providers and building their own capabilities that can be deployed to various business units.
Mid-way through transition, bringing on the majority of these resources offshore, but a small handful they have brought onshore.

Business Architect: Business Analyst with an architecture component, key value to understand the vast realm of the possible with Pega platform. Elicit and understand the business challenges, what they want to prioritize on the roadmap and organizing the design, architecture, and then requirements/backlog from there.
Decision Architect:  specialist in Customer Decision Hub, Next-Best-Action Designer, most senior level is a Lead Decisioning Architect down to a Next Best Action analyst/designer (low-level configurators, carrying out changes on CDH platform), Architects need knowledge of customer engagement and modern marketing, drawing designs on CDH to meet the business needs.
Decision Architect Requirements:

Next-best-action designer--defining rules, decision tables, logic for real-time decisioning
Integrate predictive and adaptive analytics models to enhance personalization
Customer journey mapping, interaction history management
Has a Data Science team responsible for building external predictive ML models in Azure Synapse to integrate into the tool, no need for the Decision Architect to build them, but should know data science concepts and models pertaining to CDH itself. Understanding measuring model success, scoring, concepts of training and re-training, etc.
Need experience in the adaptive model component of CDH
