Business Data Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:
As a Business Data Analyst, you will perform in-depth business analysis, including statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and data mining, to generate actionable insights for improving our current business operations. You will engage directly with clients (internal or external) to understand their analytical needs and work towards implementing or augmenting systems to capture critical business operation data. The role also involves producing ad hoc data and reports as required and guiding less experienced analysts in their tasks.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Determine best practices through extensive statistical analysis and data mining.
• Develop actionable insights and recommendations for enhancing business operations.
• Engage with clients to identify and clarify analytical requirements.
• Assist in the generating ad hoc reports and data as needed.
• May assist in the implementation or development of systems for capturing business operation information.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in SQL and Data Modeling.
• Experience with Qlik for data visualization.
• Strong abilities in stakeholder management.

Industry Experience Required:

• Prior experience in business analysis, especially in capturing and analyzing operation information, is preferred. Familiarity with tools like Tableau and scripting languages such as Python is advantageous, though not mandatory.
