Business Intelligence Developer

Responsibilities:

• Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for the design and development of BI and reporting solutions for complex analysis.
• Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures and develop ETL procedures to extract and load data
• Create dashboards, reports and Visual Analytics applications using Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview, SAS or other advanced BI tools
• Create dashboards from scratch and aim to thrill stakeholders with visually pleasing charts and graphs
• Gather business requirements, conduct analysis, design and develop solutions meeting the business needs
• Produce project documents including Solution Definition and detailed Technical Design Documents
• Provide Technical leadership in executing projects and working effectively with stakeholders
• Collaborate with the Data Integration teams in developing data models to suit BI solutions
• Provide subject matter expertise in developing reports and dashboards
• Create visual prototypes and do presentations
• Willingness to work together with development team and assist in troubleshooting, debugging

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems or related engineering disciplines

Requirement:

• Experience in all aspects of data warehousing including data architecture, analysis and design, ETL and Business Intelligence plus the ability to bridge the gap between end-users, technical professionals
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing at a professional level and to distill complex technical data to all levels of management with conciseness, clarity, and accuracy.
• Required experience: 3+ years of SQL and related Business Intelligence development experience
• Preferred: Spotfire, Tableau with Sqlserver or Oracle Database
• Experience working on multiple projects in Spotfire, Tableau and SQL
• Experience with Big Data analytics is a plus
• Ability to organize complex concepts in written or presentation formats
• Significant experience with SQL and working with large datasets required
• Analytical approach to design, develop, and deliver complex dashboards
• Experience with Visual Analytics
• Ability to clearly present information in English, verbally and in writing, to audiences of diverse technical backgrounds
