Business Systems Process Analyst:
ICF is currently seeking a Business Process Analyst to support our U.S. Department of Energy client. In this position you will support the client in developing day-to-day business processes to further the agency’s projects and programs. This client is responsible for implementing a broad range of programs to support the clean energy transition of the country’s energy system.
What you will be doing:
- Provide data input and analysis for business processes and various stages of program and project life cycles;
- Create documentation and processes to support overall project management objectives, including writing procedures and process mapping;
- Understand Agile processes continual exploration, integration and deployment;
- Assist with program and project oversight and provide administrative support;
- Possess experience interviewing stakeholders to document processes;
- Conduct stakeholder analysis;
- Translate business requirements and technical information into non-technical terms;
- Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and processes and make recommendations on improving existing processes.
What we need you to have (minimum qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Policy, Marketing or related area;
- 4-8 years’ experience in data analytics, Business operations, Administrative and/or related fields;
- Process improvement experience;
- Be familiar with Agile processes and SharePoint (administration (Site Owner), development and integration of features);
- Be familiar with International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) or PMI Business Analysis processes (Certificate not required);
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
- U.S. citizenship.
What we would like you to have:
- Strong experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams);
- Strong experience with process mapping software such as Visio;
- Experience with Python, Power BI, or other visualization software not already listed is preferred
