Duration : Long Term Contract

Location :  Hybrid - Washington DC ( 2  Days Onsite in a week from Day 1)


 

Interview Process: Video interview with Manager followed by a meet and greet with end client

Business Systems Process Analyst:

ICF is currently seeking a Business Process Analyst to support our U.S. Department of Energy client. In this position you will support the client in developing day-to-day business processes to further the agency’s projects and programs. This client is responsible for implementing a broad range of programs to support the clean energy transition of the country’s energy system.

 

What you will be doing: 

  • Provide data input and analysis for business processes and various stages of program and project life cycles;
  • Create documentation and processes to support overall project management objectives, including writing procedures and process mapping;
  • Understand Agile processes continual exploration, integration and deployment;
  • Assist with program and project oversight and provide administrative support;
  • Possess experience interviewing stakeholders to document processes;
  • Conduct stakeholder analysis;
  • Translate business requirements and technical information into non-technical terms;
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented strategies and processes and make recommendations on improving existing processes.

 

 What we need you to have (minimum qualifications): 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Policy, Marketing or related area;
  • 4-8 years’ experience in data analytics, Business operations, Administrative and/or related fields;
  • Process improvement experience;
  • Be familiar with Agile processes and SharePoint (administration (Site Owner), development and integration of features);
  • Be familiar with International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA), Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) or PMI Business Analysis processes (Certificate not required);
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal);
  • U.S. citizenship.

 

 What we would like you to have: 

  • Strong experience with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams);
  • Strong experience with process mapping software such as Visio;
  • Experience with Python, Power BI, or other visualization software not already listed is preferred
