Responsibilities
Business Requirements Analysis
Perform complex business and systems analysis work, root cause analysis and provide forward thinking, long term technical solutions; conduct requirements gathering/analysis following the Agile methodology
Identify and collaborate effectively with various business stake holders globally to solve key business challenges through implementing best practice solutions involving process change, configuration, and or customization.
Has a strong focus on gathering core requirements, beyond stated requirements and correctly places these within a broader context
Process Modeling and Design:
Engage with product owners at a strategic level to frame what we need to build and how to get there.
Collaborate with user researchers to define and conduct user research to truly understand our customers and users’ goals and needs
Work with UX designers, Business stakeholders and Engineering teams to review wireframes, prototypes to ensure UX Designs meet requirements.
Stakeholder Management
Manages stakeholder expectations and communications within and beyond functional track
Guides stakeholders through phases of requirements definition, development and UAT
Interacts regularly with senior management level stakeholders, and demonstrates value from realized projects
Functional Design Solution
Perform impact analysis of the current business process, understand best practices, identify gaps, define future state system process flow.
Responsible to design and document cross-functional and global solutions for major enhancements or projects.
Develops functional designs for applications, integrations with third party products and conversions
Keeps up to date with industry trends and vendor capabilities to produce robust functional designs
Reviews functional designs and obtains sign-offs with the cross functional business and IT teams
Improves systems and processes by studying current practices and designing modifications
Advises on solutions prepared by peers or supporting team, and champions good design practices
Project Management
Manages multiple application releases and projects
Designs release scope and schedule in line with business goal, prioritization and IT capacity.
Drive pilot programs and proof of concepts
Identify project risks, provide visibility & help mitigate risk factors
Analyze pre and post implementation changes, including expected benefits and actual results
Testing & Test Design
Executes functional and system integration testing as per business requirements.
Contribute to the definition of user acceptance test scenarios and participate in User Acceptance testing during sprints and release preparation as needed.
Coordinates defects clarification, triage and coordinate resolution with engineering teams.
Documentation
Documents and reviews broader team documentation
Supports team in identifying and defining relevant documentation templates pertaining to solution delivery.
Is a champion for knowledge transfer to enable/empower other team members.
Training and Change Management
Works with functional leadership teams to set expectations and conduct planning and execution of SME training activities.
Engage with Operations Enablement team to support communication and training efforts related to new features, enhancements and best practices.
Analyzes adoption rates and issues and assesses business case realization and proposes solutions to improve.
Production Support
Supports and trains junior resources and oversees quality in triage and troubleshooting practices
Leads troubleshooting efforts on critical issues with cross functional teams through resolution
Identifies improvements to address repeat issues
Vendor Management & Application Technology Evaluation
Manages/leads individual consulting resources as assigned
Executes medium-scale vendor evaluations, pricing negotiations and software acquisitions
Prepares management communications and gets stakeholder input for recommendations
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst with special emphasis on Quote to Cash domain in a highly customized Enterprise application environment.
Exhibits keen interest and experience in working with evolving business models in a large scale, complex, transformational programs.
5 years of experience working as a business systems analyst in all phases of the software development process including requirements gathering, design, implementation, release, and maintenance.
Deep experience and expertise in Order Fulfillment Systems in Telecom or Data Center Industry is required.
Experience in Siebel Quote, Sales Order, Work Order, Activities, Service Request, Trouble Ticket, Workforce Management and Asset with Functional and technical application knowledge is required. Equivalent experience in other ERP systems like Oracle EBS will also be considered.
Proven experience working in Agile software development life cycle.
BS degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other technical discipline or equivalent work experience is preferred
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred.
