CAD Automation Engineer

Required Qualifications:

• Must have at least 3-6 years of experience in CAD tool automation using Python and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Science (REQUIRED)

• Strong programming skills in Python

• Working experience in code development, creating automation tools for other engineers to use

• Experience in software version control (Git)

• Familiarity with Cadence and Ansys EM tools, Hspice, Keysight ADS is an added advantage

• A strong aptitude in backend development

• Good understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail

• Able to excel in an agile and dynamic work environment

Responsibilities

• Automation of end-to-end SI/PI analysis flows using Python and command-based scripts

• Development of plug-ins for existing automation infrastructure framework

• Testing and validation of CAD flow correlating with best known methods

• Debugging and resolving any automation issues

• Training and supporting end-users for the developed tools

Preferred:

• Experience in high-quality code development using Python

• Basic knowledge of SI/PI theory, electromagnetics (EM) and EM solver, SI/PI analysis tools

• Experience with Jira/Confluence or similar program management tools
