CAD Integration Engineer

SCOPE OF SERVICES:

• Manage the CAD integration with NG Call Handling.
• Directs the configuration of equipment and sub-systems into both PSAC.
environments for the NG911 Implementation.



MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: Candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will
not be considered
• At least 12 years of experience as a CAD Integration Engineer.
• Ability to provide expertise in existing NYPD ICAD systems.
• Participate in the integration and testing of the NextGen911 Call Handling
System with outlying systems, specifically the NYPD Computer Aided Dispatch
(CAD) system.

DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Lead technical discussions in integration planning and review meetings
and managing the action items
• Expertise on Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) for Police systems
• Experience in implementing a Call Handling System
• Identify system level use cases and test cases targeted at interface
validation, as well as assisting the SDE team, project leads, and
subcontractors in setting up and testing the interfaces in the SDE

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Integration experience between CAD and a Call Handling System
• Previous integration / test experience on a large system.
