CAD Technician

Job Title for this role is CAD Drafter.

Notes from the manager - I am looking for someone who has solid Solidworks experience. I am also requiring someone with recent Windchill experience. This person will not be doing much design and will be doing more replication and adjustments. I need someone who has worked in a regulated environment as well. Med Device experience is a must.

We have an exciting opportunity for a CAD Designer with Medical Device design experience. This position is responsible to work cross functionally a cross-functional team to organize and improve the print and BOM structures in WNC.

You Are Responsible For

Demonstrated ability to create and work from engineering drawings

Demonstrated application of general design and drafting of machine and product components. Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Effective communication skills both, verbal and written

Strong SolidWorks knowledge

CAD Modeling: designers are responsible for modeling of complex parts using Solidworks CAD software including design tables, surfacing, and complex assemblies

Design for Manufacturability: designers are responsible for working with manufacturing personnel to ensure parts can be efficiently manufactured
