Description


The Calibration Engineer is responsible to lead the development and verification of calibrations in the Powertrain area, specifically in Torque Control. The engineer should be able to work with suppliers and Engineering Support teams that include systems, wiring and validation engineers, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams as required to support and launch vehicle programs.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and verification of calibrations within Power-moding and LV/HV charging functional areas
• Performing vehicle testing to achieve calibration maturity at each of the vehicle milestones of the program
• Usage of the calibration tools like ETAS/INCA, MATLAB, Simulink, Vector, and various platforms that interface with Dyno testing as well as HIL

What you need for this position:
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Knowledge of CAN based communication and tools
• Outstanding communication and organization skills
• Powertrain Systems Engineering Experience for the following Vehicle Functions: Torque Control Management
• Test validation experience of feature using dSPACE HIL test bench
• Field/plant issue analysis & resolution
• Experience in Automotive Based Software Development using Model Based Development
• Experience in system level VF validation using HIL setups
