Calibration Engineer

Purpose
We have a position available in our Telford Service Centre for an experienced Calibration Engineer. This will involve Calibration/validation/Repair of electrical / electronic test instruments and mechanical torque tools to maintain functionality and accuracy

Key Accountabilities

Tests, calibrates/validates and repairs electrical / electronic, mechanical / dimensional, or analytical test instruments, products and modules to maintain functionality and accuracy. Service is performed on products and/or products manufactured by another company

Work is typically performed at a site but occasionally is performed at a customer location. Performs routine tasks, using prescribed procedures and technical duties that may require use of judgment. Solves a broad range of technical problems of varying scope and complexity. Solves test and calibration problems which require deep technical knowledge

Both and non- products are serviced. Work is performed at the Telford Service Centre

Travel to customer sites <25% performing calibrations (On-site)
