Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Estimator and Sales professional to lead our estimating and sales departments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost estimation, excellent analytical skills, and a proven track record in sales. This role requires a strategic thinker who can develop estimating processes while driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Estimating:

Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely cost estimates for projects.

Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates.

Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for estimates.

Develop and maintain estimating standards, tools, and processes to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Review and refine existing estimating practices to enhance efficiency.

Sales:

Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue targets.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.

Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and trends.

Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability.

Leadership:

Led and mentored the estimating and sales teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

Provide training and support to team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.

Monitor team performance and provide regular feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in cost estimation and sales, preferably in the Fire Protection Industry.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills with a keen attention to detail.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in estimating software and MS Office Suite.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
