Cisco Network Engineer

Design, support, install, and maintain Cerner’s internal network infrastructure, related technologies and equipment.
• Design, support, install, and maintain local area network, wide area network, and wireless network components
• Work on and maintain hardware components, including firewalls, load balancers, routers, switches and access points
• Coordinate network changes and communicate with impacted stakeholders
• Perform project work to update or replace network equipment
• Troubleshoot network connectivity issues
• Configure or upgrade network components
• Document network diagrams
• Mentor and support associates in daily tasks and troubleshooting
