Roles and Responsibilities:
• Strong knowledge in design, implementation, troubleshooting of Citrix Presentation Server, XenApp and Xendesktop. Have performed Citrix upgrade and farm migration from planning through implementation.
• Good Understanding of App Layering
• Citrix Patch Management and policies configuration
• Automation using Powershell
• Managing Citrix license migrations and renewals
• Deploying and supporting Citrix NetScaler and Citrix Provisioning Services.
• Strong background with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Active Directory Policy Management and Storage Area Networks.
Skills /Competencies:
Essential Skills:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in Citrix Administration.
Experience in Citrix Administration which includes Citrix XenApp XenDesktop 7.15, MCS, PVS, WEM, UPM, VDIs, Storefront and NetScaler.
Experience in Installation, Configuration and Administration of Citrix Sites and services.
Experience in managing complex Citrix sites and migration of applications to new versions.
Strong knowledge in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of complex XenApp and Xen Desktop production.
Excellent experience in finetuning Active Directory group policies to suit Citrix environment.
Good knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 2016, Windows 2019.
Analytical skills to identify, isolate, troubleshoot, and suggest/ recommend solutions.
Good experience in handling user level issues and escalated calls.
Good understanding of network concepts, VLAN, Storage file system CIFS, NFS and file security management..
Preferred skills
Good knowledge of Citrix license and RDS CAL license management.
Good knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation of monitoring / operational tasks.
Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
