Role Description:
�Strong in-depth experience on Citrix products especially with Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktop and its components
� Design, implement, and configure a new Citrix infrastructure to support Windows 11 desktop VDIs.
� Set up the Citrix environment including Citrix Delivery Controllers, Citrix StoreFront, Citrix Director, Citrix License Server, and Citrix Gateway.
� Ensure compatibility with Windows 11 desktop VDIs and optimize for performance, security, and scalability.
� Collaborate with networking, storage, and security teams to ensure proper integration of the new infrastructure components.
� Create new Windows 11 VDIs for pilot users, ensuring full functionality of all applications and day-to-day tasks.
� Troubleshoot and resolve any issues identified during the pilot phase.
� Decommission and delete original, non-Windows 11 VDIs once the testing phase is complete.
� Identify the list of active and persistent users/VDIs that need to be upgraded to Windows 11.
� Coordinate with the business and user groups to understand application dependencies and usage patterns.
� Create an inventory of VDIs that are part of the migration project.
� Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the creation and configuration of VDIs.
� Decommission original non-Windows 11 VDIs after users have successfully migrated to their new Windows 11 environment.
