Classic AUTOSAR Developer

Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Classic AUTOSAR Developer to join our team in Kokomo, Indiana.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Classic AUTOSAR, Basic Software (BSW), and Microcontroller Abstraction Layer (MCAL) development.
• This role involves designing, developing, and integrating AUTOSAR components to ensure high-quality software solutions for automotive applications.
• Develop and integrate Classic AUTOSAR software components, including BSW and MCAL layers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and architecture.
• Implement and optimize AUTOSAR configurations and modules to meet project specifications.
• Conduct software testing, debugging, and validation to ensure the reliability and performance of developed solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers.
• Work closely with hardware teams to ensure seamless integration of software and hardware components.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in AUTOSAR and automotive software development.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in Classic AUTOSAR software development, including BSW and MCAL.
• Strong knowledge of automotive software development processes and standards.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++.
• Experience with AUTOSAR tools and configuration management.
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, etc.).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with AUTOSAR Classic Platform.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 functional safety standards.
• Familiarity with model-based development tools such as MATLAB/Simulink.
• Understanding of embedded systems and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
