Local SF Bay Client wanting to add a Hybrid Clinical Data Engineer Contractor to the team to work heavily with Clinical Data. Looking for 2 to 3+ years experience. They would like someone that is willing to come in 2 days onsite/3 days remote a week in the Menlo Park, CA area to work with the Data Science Team. Wanting Strong R skills (incl. R Markdown and RStudio) and/or Python; and must want to do coding work

Must Have

Experience working with clinical data - Key responsibility is to transform clinical information collected in eCRFs into usable variables. Ensuring data processing is compliant with FDA for future submissions. Building the clinical data pipeline and writing code in R to load & transform data. Develop datasets for Tables, Listings, and Figures (TLFs). Reading and helping define data transformation rules (converting rules from pseudocode to executable code) and verifying, validating and correcting data as necessary.

Company is seeking a Clinical Data Engineer with a focus on Clinical Pipeline.

Responsibilities

Define and develop data asset creation workflows for clinical study data, from data pre-processing and automation through data dissemination

Provide technical support in developing and managing interactive data visualization and analytics tools for reporting and trending

Play a key role in understanding user requirements, implementing systems, and authoring procedures related to system use

BS/MS in a quantitative scientific field (computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, bioinformatics, etc.) with 3+ years of experience

Proficiency with R or Python programming and at least one system-level programming language like Go, Java, or C++
