Cloud Architect

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join our team and work with our engineering team to optimize and design our organization’s cloud-based systems.
A Cloud Architect’s responsibilities include analysis, design, deploying (doing POC) and debugging systems, as well as executing new cloud initiatives.
Ultimately, you will work with different IT professionals and teams to ensure our cloud computing systems meet the needs of our organization and customers.

Job Description:

• Being part of the Avaloq Cloud Solution Architecture team providing expertise on our Avaloq Banking Solution SaaS offering onto our Oracle Cloud Service
• Provide Architecture, design, and develop of our modular cloud-based system
• Understand, develop and maintain terraform modules for automatic deployment of infrastructure components
• Interact with clients, provide cloud support, and make recommendations based on the cloud strategies designed to meet client needs.
• Working experience as Cloud Architect or similar role
• Familiar with DevOps methodology and with git projects managements
• Knowledge of Kubernetes architecture and related implementation
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Qualifications
• Hands-on experience with OCI/ Oracle cloud is a must
• OCI certified Solution Architecture preferred
• Experience working with Terraform
• Fluent English language is a must
• Azure, AWS and GCP certifications is a plus
• Working location Switzerland
