Job Description

Responsibilities

• Delivery of 9Logic’s comprehensive portfolio of AWS Services, which encompass the full life cycle of AWS Projects, from initial assessment and proof of concept to planning, architecture design, migration, and reinvention. Responsible for, but not limited to reviewing business and technical requirements, focusing on solution development throughout the project lifecycle, supporting development, evangelizing best practices and proven patterns, and escalating architecture issues and concerns.
• 1. Partner with business leads, IT Directors to gather requirements for existing/new clients
  • Perform a wide variety of tasks, including planning, designing, architecting and implementing the cloud-based technology solutions necessary to leverage the power and economics of cloud resources to enable our clients to solve business problems, spur innovation, grow and succeed.
• 2. Design and Implement the Technical Architectures
  • AWS WAR implementations, AWS Managed Services, AWS Migration Services, Application Maintenance of AWS resources of our clients.
• Evangelize methodologies for building and operating highly available, scalable services.
• Drives and aligns innovative enterprise-wide cloud solutions across client from different verticals, business management and enterprise vendors.
• Develop pricing and cost models for complex engagements while ensuring risks are understood and mitigated
• Work closely with the client to establish infrastructure strategy, to Provide guidance and recommendations for best practices regarding cloud development and which services should be leveraged based on use case.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure that technology decisions align with the overall Enterprise Architecture Framework/Roadmap
• Conduct proof of concepts, drive technology & product selection, support pilot implementations and support enterprise wide adoption of cloud, technology, processes & toolsets
• Develop and design elastic, resilient and self-healing Cloud Applications. Work with team members to design, architect and implement solutions across geographic locations.
• Implement hybrid cloud solutions using Direct connect/VPN, also exposure to integrate Active Directory.
• 3. Designing and Implementing DevOps process
  • Managing Development and Operations processes inside team.
• Developing CI/CD roadmap and implementing to development and production projects.
• Improve deployment processes within AWS.
• AWS Services administration: IAM, VPC, Route53, EC2, S3, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, Red Shift, RDS, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation
• Develop and automate standard operating procedures around common failure scenarios
• Monitor, Analyze and report performance statistics for cloud hosted environments
• 4. Customer Management & Onsite-Offshore coordination
  • Conduct AWS Well Architected Reviews which are supporting structure of building the blocks of our customer infrastructure on AWS that provides a seamless best experience to the end users and customers.
• Perform co-ordination with the maintenance team, discuss the first level analysis findings for defects and plan the resolution. Pass on the defect to the maintenance team thereafter for implementing the defect fix.
• Resolve critical requests (requests for urgent changes to the applications) from business/ end users.
• Responsible for identifying opportunities to reduce implementation, testing cycles through Agile processes.
• Coordinate with other project support teams (Middle Tier, Release, Business, Testing, Functional team) for the pre-and post-development activities.
• Coordinate with functional users for user acceptance testing (UAT), unit testing, integration testing and regression testing.
• Responsible for defect analysis, prioritization and fixing defects.
• Communicate the design to development, testing team and track correct implementation
• Develop and maintain knowledge base that will be used by other team members and customer support teams to troubleshoot issues.
• 5. Implementing the Monitoring Solutions for quick insights
  • Manage health metrics of projects to provide leadership with quick insights into risks and issues in client delivery and lead the mitigation of risks/issues. Key leader in the growth of the Cloud Engineering practice by supporting projects and managing resources as needed
• Design and optimize cloud strategies for the cost-effective delivery of scalable and reliable systems upto 99.999% uptime SLA

  • EC2, ECS, Lambda, Config, CloudTrail, CloudFormation, WAF, S3, CloudFront, Secrets Manager, ELB, Route53, CloudWatch, SNS, RDS, Elastic Cache (Redis), etc.
