Requirements:
• Availability to work 3 days per week on the Client’s site in Tallahassee, FL (required);
• Experience as a Microsoft Azure cloud architect (2-3 years);
• Experience with other cloud providers, such as AWS or GCP (preferred, 2-3 years);
• Experience in Information Systems or another related field (5-8+ years);
• Experience supporting middleware such as API Management, IT Service Automation tools, and batch job services (preferred, 5+ years);
• Experience with .Net application development in a DevOps environment;
• Experience in administration of ESRI GIS software (2-3 years);
• Experience with Enterprise Architecture (2-3 years);
• Microsoft Azure certification (preferred);
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Services;
• Experience with Microsoft Server products;
• Experience with Linux (Redhat and Ubuntu);
• Experience with IT infrastructure and application development technology and architectures;
• Experience with assessment and analytical process and practices;
• Experience in strategic planning;
• Experience researching, compiling, and analyzing data to report findings and develop improvement solutions;
• Experience in application administration and hosting across a wide range of solutions;


• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or another related field (2 years of experience can substitute for education).Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Build and manage relationships in a matrixed environment;
• Recommend and assist with the building and hosting of complex application solutions;
• Understand, deploy, and manage Microsoft Azure cloud services;
• Resolve production release issues across business and technology teams, as well as broader strategic or systemic issues that are creating inefficiencies or hindering progress;
• Enhance application and system monitoring solutions to ensure the right staff get the right alerts;
• Automate processes wherever possible;
• Create and manage Azure DevOps projects, git repositories, and pipelines;
• Troubleshoot development issues brought forth by developers and other architects;
• Present to your peers on findings of new technologies, enterprise-wide issues, and enhancements you have made to better the mission.
