Cloud Architecture

Daily Responsibilities/Job Description:

• Work with business and IT stakeholders to create detailed current state view of applications and architecture or validate current understanding of current state

• Work with domain solution architects, technology SMEs, business partners to recommend solutions and solution options.

• Create and present appropriate artifacts (solution architecture, solution options)

• Potentially assist in stand-up or delivery of solution

Skills Overview:

Qualifications/years of experience: 10+ years of work experience in IT, including 6 years in software development and application architecture.

Technology Requirements:

Cloud Architecture – AWS, GCP. Ideally more than one. GCP data a plus.

Agile Architecture, SAFe

Event Driven Architecture

Microservice Architecture and Practices (Nice to have, not required)

Security Principles & Implementations

APIs (REST/SOAP/GraphQL/WSO2)

Modern Web Development: Java, Angular, React, CICD (Jenkins), Test Driven Development

Databases: Relational, NoSQL DocumentDB, NoSQL Graph, GCP

Docker and Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Kafka

VMWare Tanzu / Pivotal Cloud Foundry

• Strong collaborator with business and technical colleagues, adept at building rapport. Can communicate with multiple levels, including senior leadership and technical.

• Able to rationalize current company solution patterns and reasonable industry best practices to recommend solutions and options.

• Highly self motivated; able to traverse complex corporate organizations to find answers

• Experience in PBM and/or Specialty pharmacies
