Cloud Consultant

Job Description:

Tools & technology skillsets and experience required

Hands-on cloud experience must-have ; preferred Azure, but open to AWS or GCP

Hands-on experience in Azure data stack including native tools – preferred

ADF (Azure data factory)

Azure Datalake gen 2, and Azure SQL MI

Hands-on experience in delta-lake supported by Databricks / Azure Databricks – preferred

Hands-on experience in modern identity management solutions such as – Azure AD MFA, Azure AD conditional access, Azure AD Privileged Identity Management – as well as Security solution using – Azure Key Vault

Prior experience in – Python/ PySpark/ Scala – preferred

Summary of responsibilities and expectations :

Work under guidance of Lead Data Engineer / Solution Architect as well as Business Analysts to deliver end-to-end data solutions on Azure tool-stack, including but not limited to cloud data warehouse, data integration, data as a service, self-serve

Work with the Data Modellers, Cloud platform engineering team, tech risk analyst, as well as security consultant to deliver quality technology solutions that that are fit-for-purpose as well as adhere to best practice security, compliance, and design principles

Leverage CI/CD practices to deploy, support and operate data pipelines
