Overview:

The Sr. Cloud / Data Architect is an expert in end-to-end architecture and design including all forms of data collection and transmission (the edge to cloud), data ingestion (streaming and batch), messaging/queuing, streaming analytics, a range of data persistence options, data access, long term storage, security, governance, integration, visualization, user experience, and a range of infrastructure and network options (cloud, on-premise, hybrid). They also provide design and recommendations for capacity planning, workload, and onboarding, overseesees the complete reference architecture and technical framework.

Responsibilities:

Designs/validate target architecture and owns delivery of all documents. Primary focus on ensuring that Ecolab has the correct tech stack, identifying any critical gaps, making suggestions to resolve, etc. Has awareness of other bigger picture initiatives related to MAP 2.0 Architecture (such as Orchestration, Data Integration, ML/AI) and put pieces together? Needs to be aware of business requirements for use cases and how they relate to the overall architecture design. Nice to have: Familiar with pulling data out of SAP into Snowflake.
