Cloud Data Engineer

Team and Ideal Candidate Description:

The focus of this role will be to support the ETL and Database conversion from On Prem to the new Cloud infrastructure.

Team Focus: The ARP Next team is focused on managing the Data & Analytics data warehouse platform. This includes support of data ingest, data quality and data consumption related to the data warehouse platform.

Required Skill Set (Technical + Soft Skills)

• Must have: Informatica, IICS data pipeline development experience, Cloud Datawarehouse (Snowflake preferred), on-prem to cloud migration experience
• Must Have: Ability to perform peer SIT testing with other Cloud Data Engineers
• Must have: Database - MS SQL Server, Snowflake

Nice To Have Skill Set (Technical + Soft Skills):

• Nice to have / medium priority: Informatica PowerCenter (high priority)
• Nice to have: Analytical reporting - Tableau / Qlik Sense / SAS / R (migrating existing reports - mostly Tableau / moving from Qlik View to Qlik Sense)
• Nice to have: Kafka, Kubernetes

Desired Industry Experience: Finance, Lease / Loan or Automotive experience are a plus

Team & Department Structure: Team of approximately 30. Department is focused on managing the Data & Analytics data warehouse platform

Project Details & day to day in this position:

Candidate will be hands on with the project but also need to have strong leadership skills.

50% of the time candidate will need to manage and guide a team of developers and the other 50% of the time will be completing the technical work (hands on). Must have previous experience with this (i.e., technical lead)

Code review person. Each spring. Coders will do developing then candidate will be reviewing code and auditing the code to ensure its meeting the standard (final eye)

Migrating to ompren to a data warehouse.

Skills/Certifications/Technology (required):

Informatica, IICS data pipeline development experience
