Cloud Database Engineer

Education and Experience »
Associate degree in Computer Science or related IT field
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
Experience with Windows and Linux servers
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
5+ years’ experience in technology and software implementation/design
5+ years’ experience in database administration and architecture within an open systems infrastructure

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities »
Installing and maintaining database software
Building database schemas, tables, procedures, and permissions
Installing and testing upgrades and patches

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:
You must have advanced experience working with open systems infrastructure, Windows, and Linux servers, and MSSQL, Oracle, and MySQL databases. In this position, it is critical to have a passion for cloud database engineering and a focus on growth and improvement as we continue to modernize our system
Designing and documenting database architecture
Developing database utilities and automated reporting
As a Cloud Database Engineer III, you will be responsible for the setup and on-going health of relational and non-relational databases
Analyzing and sustaining capacity and performance requirements
