Cloud Engineer

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will serve as the technical expert in Docker and Container Orchestration technologies, deploying, configuring and monitoring applications for Kubernetes (IKS) platform. Hands on experience in Kubernetes master node and worker node. Also experienced in Linux, network and SSH. Qualifications/Experience • Minimum of 8 plus years of experience • Kubernetes configuration and creating clusters solutions • Continually improve DevOps processes, and procedures • Build, maintain, and scale applications for Production, QA, and Dev environments • Work closely with Development and QA teams to help ensure end-to-end quality • Write and maintain infrastructure documentation • Own production incidents/issues and provide response to infrastructure incidents and alerts • Work with third-party vendors to resolve infrastructure issues • Assist with the operation of a Kubernetes cluster Technical Skills - Kubernetes ecosystem - Linux admin - Docker - K8s admin (prefer to get CKA/CKAD certificate) - networking - Security - K8s application resource management - other infrastructure setup - Application architecture - deployment process and CICD - configuration settings - testing on component level - Troubleshooting - cloud traffic tracing - Identify the root cause - engage application/external team for troubleshooting - Monitoring/Performance tuning - cloud tools to monitoring health - performance tuning on bottleneck - Dashboard and alerts setup.
