ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 

Design, develop, and manage Redshift data warehouses to support business intelligence (BI) and reporting needs. 
Integrate Redshift with other AWS services such as S3, EC2, RDS, Glue, and Lambda. 
Optimize database design and performance for big data processing. 
Ensure data security, compliance, and maintain data integrity across all platforms. 
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute data strategies. 
Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.

How many years of experience would you like to require for this position? 
5 years’ experience but if very technical/skilled would consider under 5 years. 

Top Skills In Order of Preference. 
1. All-round understanding of AWS Ecosystem and the ability to propose solutions to teams with little AWS knowledge. 
2. Hands on experience with AWS Redshift, with an understanding of data warehousing concepts and SQL. 
3. Strong experience of implementing disaster recovery strategies for AWS solutions 
· Ideal Candidate Profile 
The candidate will be the AWS SME in a project that involves multiple teams, and will be expected to hold their own communicating with architects and engineers from these teams, and will work with our Cloud team to design, implement, and support the solution, as such, strong communication skills are necessary. In addition, this is a small team, so the ideal candidate should demonstrate that they are able to manage a varied workload efficiently.
