The Opportunity

"FICO is seeking a Senior Observability Engineer who thrives working in a fast paced Cloud environment. The individual will play a vital role within a global team focused on Observability, requiring close collaboration with Product ,Infrastructure, DevOps, and Core Services teams.” – Director, Cloud Engineering.

What You’ll Contribute

As an Observability Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our observability infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and minimizing downtime.
Work with product teams to ensure the successful integration of Observability into the development and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate with various teams to develop monitoring strategies ( Metric , Log , Trace ), manage alerts, and lead incident response efforts to address and mitigate environment issues efficiently.
Develop, configure, and optimize monitoring tools and dashboards to enhance visibility into system health, performance metrics, and logging.

What We’re Seeking

Hands on experience in monitoring / Observability Tool like Splunk , Zabbix , ServiceNow , SumoLogic.
Hands on experience in aggregation tool like - CRIBL.
Expertise in Automation - scripting ( python , shell , perl ) (required).
Distributed tracing implementation expertise using OpenTelemetry.
Experience in tools (CI-CD concept ) like Jenkins , Ansible , Terraform which can be used Orchestration purpose (preferred).
Cost Management experience like – AWS Cost explorer , Cloudhealth.
Advanced experience working in an AWS Environment (required).
Provide Operational support as and when needed.
AWS Certifications (preferred).
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or relevant experience.
